The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Wayne State University's School of Medicine is dedicated to serving the clinical needs of the population of the Detroit metropolitan area, its surrounding communities, and beyond.
The division provides primary and specialized care to patients with diseases of the respiratory system, and patients with various sleep related disorders. In addition, the division specializes in the care of critically ill patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and invasive management. The division is part of the educational mission of the University and strives to provide trainees with academic training based on cutting edge scientific, clinical, translational and basic research.
