Research

We study stress signaling during high-risk periods of embryonic development. Stress induces imbalanced differentiation that emulates etiologies of reproductive pathologies. We use transgenic gain- and loss-of-function, viable reporters for stress enzyme and potency factors in stem cells and embryos to measure and manage reproductive stress to make healthier babies and moms.
