Masters of Physiology

Our masters program is committed to advancing the basic sciences and providing a solid foundation of interdisciplinary education and research which prepares and enables students for the diverse opportunities available in both academia and private industry.

The Plan A MS program specialization at the masters degree level may be undertaken in the areas of: cardiovascular and exercise physiology; cellular and molecular physiology; cellular and molecular kidney physiology and hypertension; endocrine physiology; neurophysiology; and respiratory physiology. These program specializations are available to both part-time and full-time students, in research degree programs.

NEW Fall 2022: the Physiology Department will also be offering a MS Plan C option which consists of 30 credits of coursework and does not require a research project or writing/defending a thesis or essay.
