Applicantion Requirements

Selection of Students:
Students will be selected on a competitive basis

Graduate Students

Because of the diverse nature of graduate student programs and the different processes of selecting advisors, the graduate student selection process at WSU is by necessity varied.  The university's final acceptance of graduate students occurs entirely at the departmental level. Once accepted into a graduate program they must adhere to the requirements of their respective department and IMSD program. Preference is given to first and second year students where the IMSD program can have the greatest impact. Once a student is recruited, interviewed and accepted, the IMSD Program is committed to facilitating this student's progress toward a Ph.D.
